A furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth.

It’s a square piece of fabric used to carry, wrap, and protect items—like gifts, clothes, lunch boxes, or groceries—by folding and tying it in different ways. Instead of using bags or paper, you reuse the same cloth over and over.

Hyotan (gourd) pattern is the symbol of great luck in Japan.

During picnic season, it becomes both a stylish and practical accessory, unfolding into an elegant mat beneath your lunch once unwrapped.
